Hector Vega

Hector Vega
Fantastic art, food, java and juice are sure to make a splash at this unique gathering place for visitors and residents at the Tower Press. A casual meeting space for art connoisseurs, artists and business professionals to converse and collaborate.

Will Napoli began self-publishing his concrete poetry, previously called “subprose” but now called “protext”, in 1990. Soon after the opening of Earthman’s ApARTment Gallery™ he held the first annual Subprose Summit, where concrete poets gathered

Robert Banks
Concept, composition, characters, camera angles, dialogue, direction, lighting and action…These are among the multi-faceted elements that make Robert Banks a well-recognized name among Cleveland filmmakers today.

Kathy Skerritt
My work is a commitment to visually investigate the form… continuously being revealed from behind or under or within the deconstructed form. …beyond the surface to that underlying substance or process, to a more fundamental source condition.

Georgio Sabino III
"I create art that stimulates the imagination, challenges the intellect, propelling the viewer towards celestial heights where they can explore, discover, and uncover their polyrhythmic identities through my work."

Dexter Davis
"I view my work as an experience or journey. I like to think of it as forever changing in both the physical and psychological state... I create with a spontaneous repeated gesture...repeated patterns." My new work is about "New Birth". These works are self-portraits.
Mike McNamara
Musician Mike McNamara is a guitarist of contemporary and flamenco music.
His work creates live rhythms and complex subtleties of melody and tempo in vibrant percussive tones. He performs regularly throughout the city.
Remember the name.

Billy Nainiger, a native Clevelander, has been an inspiring artist since early childhood. He is concentrating on his painting: working with acrylics, oils and watercolors. He also paints murals in people’s homes. Notice the bold swatches of contrasting color that distinguishes his work.

Carlos Montes de la Oca
Carlos Montes de la Oca is a native of Chile now established in Cleveland art circles. He recently did a solo exhibition at Spaces Gallery on the near west side.

Cushmere Bell
"My painterly desires are reflected in my photography. I am deeply influenced by the Impressionists, although most of my photos are in black and white. My expressionistic usage of light to convey the subject matter is highly evident."

Mike Greenwald
"My paintings are a visual translation of personal observations, experiences and reactions to life and my place in the world. I hope that the viewer feels drawn into and engaged by my work. I like to think of my paintings as meditative, eliciting introspection and contemplation."

Bruce Biro
"Sculptural activity involving the interplay of positive and negative space in three dimensions is the primary concern. In a sense I am adding absence:
the reductive process...I want each work to be visually engaging and spatially active in 360 degrees."

Nathan Wasserbauer
Nathan's work deals with industrial infringement upon the organic world.
Using imagery that falls between abstraction and representation... The
resulting layouts dissect a temporal expansion... displaying two parallel
worlds of forced coexistence.

Damon Reaves
Reaves is an accomplished fine and scenic artist whose work expresses a deep curiosity for the relationship between figure and environment. He is the
2004 Sankofa Fine Art Plus Emerging Artist.

Dana Oldfather
Dana Oldfather serves as a Gallery Assistant at The Bonfoey Gallery of Cleveland. She has shown her work in numerous group and juried exhibitions, has hosted her own solo exhibition and had her work published in the 2003 “Living, Working, Creating” article of The Builder’s Exchange.

Richard Durrah
"My delight with photography started at a very early age, when my father purchased the family's first Polaroid Land Camera in 1967. Taking pictures of my family and friends was the beginning of my astonishment with the art and science of photography."

Bruce Conforti
Bruce Conforti is well known for his incomparable use of color and his brilliant style of painting. He also has been a mentor to other artists at the Tower Press Building.

Burning River Gallery Photo
Step into the Burning River Glassworks and you are greeted with glass blossoms of bold colors suspended from above, and the hot breath of glassblowing ovens along the space fronting the street. It is a wonderful blast of warmth in cool Cleveland.
